In 2024, the Education Bureau introduced the *Religious Education Curriculum Guide (S1-S3)*, organizing the content into two main areas: “Learning about Religion” and “Learning from Religion.” The implementation of this updated curriculum has begun in Secondary 1 during the 2024/25 academic year and will progress annually through to Secondary 3.
We will be revising A Journey with the Bible to align it with the new curriculum. The updated textbook series, titled New Perspective on Life, is planned for phased release starting in 2026.
Since A Journey with the Bible meets over 95% of the new curriculum requirements, it is fully approved for classroom use until the latest edition becomes available. Educators can continue to use it with complete confidence.
